We are deeply saddened to announce that our oldest sister and best friend Jean Jainarine has passed away peacefully on Tuesday October 10, 2017, at the age of 69 in her home with her family by her side. Jean is the daughter of Sumintra & Manraj (Deceased) Gunpat and is survived by her husband Deodat, daughter Deborah, Fenessa, Son Roydhon and her predeceased son Romeo. As well as her precious grandchildren Lydena, Mark, Mary, Asha and a great grand-daughter Lydia. Jean will be greatly missed by her cherished sisters and brothers, Rita, Lynette, Paulette, Lolita, Léonard, Violet, Elaine. Kennard, Joan and Lloyd(deceased), and her sister-in-law Meena.

She will be fondly remembered as a loving, warm, and bright shining light by her many nieces and nephews, her friends, relatives, cousins, in the place she grew up in New Amsterdam and various Lutheran churches she served and patients she helped as a personal support worker...
Jean your voice sings still in our hearts. Your smiles , your sincerity and kindness all remembered. You will be missed but never forgotten. May the Lord grant everlasting peace to the departed soul of our sister, mom. sister-in-law , friend , cousin , aunt and husband.
