Born 1929 in Johannesburg, South Africa. Died October 13, 2017 in Forest Hills, Queens, New York City.

A graduate of the University of Virginia and Columbia University, Roger served the Rego Park, Queens community for decades as a retail pharmacist at R&X Drugs.

Survived by his devoted wife Henley; son Michael, Major, U.S. Army Retired; daughter Martha; brother Don; cousins Phon and Nancy, sisters-in-law Eva and Lily; and nephews Colin, David, Bryan, Martin, Derek, Matthew, Anthony, Gavin, and Christopher.

A wake will be held at Leo F. Kearns, 61-40 Woodhaven Blvd., Rego Park, on Monday, October 16, from 4 PM to 8 PM.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at Resurrection-Ascension Church, 85-25 61st Rd., Rego Park at 9:45 AM on Tuesday, October 17. Burial to follow at St. John's Cemetery, Middle Village, Queens.

The family is very grateful to Dr. Alan Spiegel and Concorde Medical, and the staffs of NYU Langone Medical Center and Northwell Forest Hills Hospital for their compassionate service and care.
