We are deeply saddened to announce that our second sister Rita Latchmin DrePaul and best friend has passed away peacefully on Wednesday January 31st,2018, at the age of 68 at New York Presbyterian Queens Hospital with her family by her side.

Rita is the 2nd daughter of 11 children of Sumintra & Manraj (Deceased) Gunpat .

She is survived by her husband Tyrone, son Rickey & Alvon (Wife Natasha). As well as her precious grandchildren –granddaughter Juliesa &,.Julia, grandson Johnathon,Elish,Isiah and Josiah.


,Rita will be greatly missed by her cherished sisters and brothers, Jean(deceased), Lynette, Paulette, Lolita, Violet, Elaine, Joan , Leonard, Kennard, and Lloyd (deceased) and sister-in-law Meena.

She will be remembered as a bright, shining light,her love for God and her strong belief in prayers by her many nieces and nephews, her friends, relatives, cousins, in the place she grew up in New Amsterdam, the Lutheran and later Pentecostal churches she served , her Avon clients, as well as her patients she cared for as a personal support worker.
