Condolence: Adelaide was champion of advocacy for many of our almost 94,000 members that have walked through the doors of the Fortune Society.

She was instrumental in the lives of so many people including myself personally. She was the first person I ever had contact with at The Fortune Society. And when I reflect back, much of what I have been able to accomplish since 2011 is rooted in our first encounter.

Her campaign of love and dedication of service to the voiceless and underserved of New York will be missed. She has been called home and if we know Adelaide her work will continue.

May Lynn and the family find comfort in knowing that the energy encapsulated in the spirit is eternal. Adelaide’s essence is simply dialed to a new and better frequency in the spiritual chain of evolution, which by design must assume a new glorious form.

We love you and miss you dearly Adelaide. What a friend we had in you.

Condolence: We are shocked and saddened to hear about the untimely death of Adelaide. We remember her as a friendly and helpful neighbor who always had kind things to say. She will be sorely missed. Our condolences to Lynn and to Adelaide's entire family.

Condolence: Dearest Adelaide Rest In Peace taken from life too soon with so much to offer even though we never met you were a sister in arms. May god bless you and your family at this difficult time.

Condolence: Adelaide, was incredible. In times of loss this is the poem I always turn to, I think it suits her very well.

Condolence: what do I say... Adelaide, we fought, argued and made up like sisters. You were family to me my doggie Molly, staff, and especially the clients. Your heart was made of gold...Always there for EVERYBODY!! no matter what. I will miss you dearly my sister but I know you will always be looking out for us. Its what you do, always looking out for others. Love you more than words can say. RIP

Condolence: Hard to find words right now because it doesn’t make sense that Adelaide is gone. She had the biggest heart, was always ready and willing to lend a hand, to show up for friends and strangers alike. She was the best kind of friend because she had no expectations and gave unconditional love regardless of your imperfections. Her place on this planet, her voice, her smile, her laugh, will be missed, but all of her kindnesses will love forever. My heart goes out to Lynn and the rest of Adelaide’s family.

Condolence: An advocate, a leader, a humorist, a friend. Adelaide, you are one of those people who will be in my heart forever. The world is a much better place because you were part of it - albeit it way too briefly.

Condolence: I am deeply saddened that this wonderful woman is no longer with us in her physical state but she will always be with us in spirit. Although, my time was short with you Adelaide, you were always one of the smiling faces who visited me regularly, our short conversations will always be remembered and you will be missed! My condolences go out to the entire family and closer friends of Adelaide. I pray that all your hearts will be comforted in the time of need. My prayers will be with you.

Condolence: My friend, Adelaide, I miss you already. First day at Fortune 8 years ago you gave me a bunch of stationary and an agency tour - this made me feel welcomed and at ease. I soon found out that’s your nature - you genuinely enjoyed and loved helping people. You touched everyone’s lives with your generous and caring personality - you went above and beyond for everyone. Throughout the years we worked together, you have been my voice of reason and guidance through difficult times and I appreciate everything you have done for me. I will miss our daily talks and disagreements :). I will miss your little notes and gifts of candy you would leave on my desk, which always brightened my day. My friend, I love you so much and will miss you forever. Sleep with the Angels.
