Obituary for Leo Fedorowich

Born June 6, 1921 to Peter and Pauline Fedorowich in NYC. Leo grew up in his parents’ home in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. They had a corner grocery store on Manhattan Avenue in Greenpoint Brooklyn. Leo was drafted in the Army and sent to Germany during WWII. While in Germany, he was stationed in Bad Ems, which is where during one of his patrols through the town, he met his future bride, Charlotte. After the war, Leo came home and began the process to reunite with his love Charlotte. Lottie arrived in December 1948 and they were married in February 1949. Karen was born December 1949, followed by Victoria in September 1953 and Peter in October 1959. Leo worked as a production worker for Hoffman Beverage, followed by Kirsch Beverage Company, where he retired from in 1987. Leo’s love in life were his car, family, traveling to New England, Eastern European Beers, wine, sitting in the sun, reading, and watching history shows on tv. Leo passed quietly surrounded by family on June 18th 2018, just 12 days after his 97th birthday. Leo is survived by his wife of 69 years, Lottie, his daughters Victoria and Karen; her husband John, and Peter his wife Sabrina.
