Obituary for Inez Miller

Mrs. Inez Patricia Miller (née Reece), also called "Sneezy" by her close relations, was born to Ms. Daphne Nurse and Randolph Reece on July 1, 1939 in Georgetown, Guyana. After a long illness, she passed away on November 27, 2019 peacefully at Weil Cornell Medical Center. She was 80. Those most familiar with her life are keenly aware of her humble spirit which encompassed a deep love for the Lord Jesus Christ.

In her youth, she attended British Guyana Educational Trust High School and subsequently worked at Guyana National Lithographic for 30 years. After the death of her of her mother, she and her siblings were cared for by their maternal Aunt Ursula Manshing.

She was married to her husband John on October 26, 1963 and had four sons. She emigrated to the United States on May 27, 1990 where she then worked as both a Home Attendant and Certified Nursing Assistant until her retirement.

She is preceded in death by her husband John Randolph Miller and her parents Daphne Nurse and Randolph Reece; Aunt Ursula Manshing, Uncle Sidney Payne and Great-Grandmother Mama Brewster.

She is survived by her four sons, Anthony (Donna), Andre (Faye), Adrian and Anson (Julie); eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; sisters Pansy Green, Jean Reece and Lynette Hazeley and brothers Leslie Reece and Compton Stoby; many cousins, nieces and nephews as well as many brothers and sisters in Christ.

The family will be present at Leo F. Kearns, Inc. on Monday, December 2, 2019 from 4:00pm-8:00pm. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at 9:00am at Bethlehem Assembly of God. Friends are invited.
