Dear Mr. Kearns;

     It is with deep appreciation I write to you. Let me say, at a time when it was so dark in my life your firm gave me much support and kindness. The staff listened to me and as always did their very best. The arrangements were done as if I would have handled them myself, there was nothing left undone.

     My life without my dad is not the same. My family and myself, miss him enormously. He was the rock and the soul of our family unit.

     We lived on 115th Street off Rockaway Blvd when Mr. Leo F. Kearns started in the little corner store. My brother and his nephew played together. It seems almost natural for your family now to have taken such good care of both my parents, as well as my in-laws.

  Under the circumstances, let me say thank you, for all your staff did for my dad, my family, and his friends.

Dear Mr. Kearns:

       My husband always said he wanted an immediate cremation... However, my children and I felt we wanted to do something for us, as a family but we didn't know exactly "what." What we finally decided, with your help and suggestion, worked out perfectly even though it was a little different.

Dear Mr. Kearns:

       The entire family complimented your thoughtfulness and courtesy. The extra time spent by your staff in allowing family members to make special requests and granting them in a timely manner was top of the list. For example, we had to bring in some special clothing and jewelry (a watch) and your staff accommodated all our requests. The other thing was changes we made along the way, small but important to us, were always fulfilled.

Dear Mr. Kearns:

     It was very reassuring to know that everything was being taken care of in such a professional manner during this unbelievably difficult time. Small details, that I would normally focus on, were always foreseen and disposed of beautifully by your director and the rest of the entire staff.

     Our funeral director was particularly professional and caring. Although my grief never allowed me to do so, I would now like to acknowledge his professionalism, perfectionism, and excellence in service. He was always there to make sure everything was as it should be.
