Donald F. Vautier was born in Brooklyn and grew up in East New York. For the past 39 years he lived in East Meadow, NY. He is preceded by his wife of 42 years, Mary C. Vautier. He is survived by his daughter, Jeannette Vautier. He was an accomplished attorney, graduating from Brooklyn Law School and was a member of the Nassau County Bar Association. He served with distinction in World War I l, a Private First Class, with Company “E” 26th Infantry Regiment in England, France, Belgium and Germany. His numerous military honors included the Combat Infantry Badge, Conspicuous Service Cross and the Bronze Star. He was a devoted and beloved husband and father and will be greatly missed.
