Condolence: I moved into Richmond Hill in 1969.At that time y neighbor John Basack told me there was a family up the block with a bunch of kids.Sure enough I met the Uptons.Through the years my three children became very friendly with the Uptons.I too became friends with George and Peggy...We spend many a summer going to the beach in my ittle blue VW loading at least 7 Kids into that small car.Peg and I always enjoyed going to the beach together at least once every summer.She would always bring hard boiled eggs...Through our ups and downs we managed to stay in touch.Her friendship was one of the joys of my life.So this summer I will go to the beach and I will bring a hard boiled egg and think of you my friend..love Barbara AKA Mrs. Valis

Condolence: I have known Peggy (Margaret) my entire life. So many wonderful memories of her and George, especially of them dancing together at my wedding. Peggy was present at every important moment in my life and she will always be thought of fondly. Life has its ups and downs but Peggy always took things in stride showing that she was as tough as they come. Leonardo DaVinci once said “I love those who can smile in trouble, who can gather strength from distress, and grow brave by reflection. ‘Tis the business of little minds to shrink, but they whose heart is firm, and whose conscience approves their conduct, will pursue their principles unto death.” I think Leonardo would be glad to meet her.
