I known Joe Singh since 1984 .We worked together at Lafayette/Circuit City and Newmark & Lewis in Manhattan, New York for the better part of five years . Undoubtedly , Joe was my mentor in retail, from the very first day of a career that would unknowingly last me thirty years .
I would always look up to Joe for direction and guidance , not only about our jobs , but also living Life itself . He was a very knowledgeable person and shared his experiences with anyone who would listen . I considered him more as a Father figure than a Brother . When working retail , the people you work with become your family , because you spend more time together on the job than you do at home . I remember when Joe's family sent him a Christmas card to the store , due to the amount of time he spent there . I will always cherish our conversations as we walked to and rode the subway system together .
I have many fond memories about Joe . We kept up our friendship for many years, even after I moved to the state of Florida . I want to give my best to his wife and family during this difficult time . I will keep all of you in my Prays . I hope to keep in touch and remain friends with his family in the future .
God , please Bless my Dear Friend Joe , may he Rest in Peace .
