Adelaide was champion of advocacy for many of our almost 94,000 members that have walked through the doors of the Fortune Society. She was instrumental in the lives of so many people including myself personally. She was the first person I ever had contact with at The Fortune Society. And when I reflect back, much of what I have been able to accomplish since 2011 is rooted in our first encounter. Her campaign of love and dedication of service to the voiceless and underserved of New York will be missed. She has been called home and if we know Adelaide her work will continue. May Lynn and the family find comfort in knowing that the energy encapsulated in the spirit is eternal. Adelaide’s essence is simply dialed to a new and better frequency in the spiritual chain of evolution, which by design must assume a new glorious form. We love you and miss you dearly Adelaide. What a friend we had in you.
